I had just turned 18 and loved every minute of filming - Dancer/Actor Darrell Kiedo “Hagan”

Movie PreSales is not a new concept. The original niche market describes the business of packaging film media and television projects that had become ever complex with the rise of publicity and marketing costs associated with financing films and media. The term P&A, publicity and advertising had become a through line on the "below the line" costs of budgets in the 90's that began to climb into the the tens of millions, causing these associated cost to become a negotiated item at the distributors or studios discretion.

Darrell Keith Hagan a former actor and comedian was introduced to the concept of PreSales movie funding while working with USA Networks founder and owner under the direction of producer Harvest Roy Smith. Mr. Smith a friend and competing sports figure, (credited as the reason Michael Jordan, became a driven competitor when Roy won a coveted sports position beating out Michael Jordan, who vowed to not let that happen again.) An executive and mentor to young Hagan the company began working with the young actor on an original screenplay to be produced under the USA Networks umbrella, the deal went north as Vivendi a French company absorb the Network, and was them bought by Universal Pictures creating Vivendi Universal. The production rights to several projects were retained by Darrell Keith Hagan and he was guided by Leonard Shapiro, and the coveted UCLA film extension program.

Under 'Lenny' (Leonard Shapiro), the media company and development company was afforded on the job training and began working with industry professionals from such films as Lord of the Rings. Monster, Freddy vs Jason, Jeepers Creepers, Road To Perdition, and others. The most notable being critically acclaimed Monster with Charlize Theron, and then another financial hit with Dahmer starring then unknown Jeremy Renner.

Friend and Groundlings colleague Dan Fogelman created an HBO Showcase piece titled sleepaway camp which helped solidify agency and work relationships, from APA and William Morris Agency. Robert Townsend approached the young actor performer and with the help of Victoria Morrow, Rita Wilson and other independent filmmakers he completed three screenplays. One project created for him and touring partner Katt Williams was re-written for Kevin Hart after Mr. Williams changed management, the rights reverted back to Darrell Keith Hagan (now owned by MoviePreSales), for a 2016 production year.

Darrell Keith Hagan, formerly comedian Kiedo, developed a slate of four franchise films and met exclusively with the AFM team and founders to create a full feature platform to develop finance and automate film sales online, as the companies like Crackle under Sony, fledgling startup Netflix, and Comedy Central. Kiedo's comedian friend and touring partner Katt Williams even had a deal structured for "the Pimp Chronicles" comedian which became one of Comedy Central's (also under Vivendi Universal at the time) highest viewed comedy specials.

Darrell Hagan, aka Kiedo as a performer began working with A-List Directors and talent, from John Singleton to Dennis Haysbert and was inducted into the Beverly Hills friars organization with Alumni Jeff Ross, Steve Byrne, Sam Tripoli, Vince Vaughn, Sarah Silverman, Judy Tenuta, Rodney Perry, JDubb Wells, Kevin Hart, Sebastion Maniscalco, Joe Rogan, Dane Cook, Sherry Shepherd, Natasha Legerro. The comedy film written with his "Comedy Store" alumni in mind was selected as a finalist 2009 Beverly Hills Film Festival in the screenplay category.

At the international American Film Market, Darrell Keith Hagan parlayed the super successful film PreSalesmarket with a bevy of successful films, learning first hand with the independent producers involved. The films, one of which Dahmer (imdb) is said to have helped launch the career of then unknown Jeremy Renner.

Movie PreSales. The funding platform was perfected and launched October 2015.

The step by step online engine, secured the first four productions and sponsors from a $79.52 cent promissory note by the law office of William Earl Edwards and at printing per initial funding secured was net profit successful with the first release (horror project) code named Heart High, Co-written by Kiedo and writing partners based on the story Willum. The film's graphic novel is slated for a 2017 release.

Produced by Moviepresales and the flagship film of a four film international franchise the feature is being developed for the AFM 2016 marketplace.

Two years preceding the launch of his company Hagan was tapped by representatives of Juma Entertainment and the Trump organization to star on a reality series titled the Ultimate Merger as well as Shark Tank in its second season. The Trump infused reality show with TV One, was a bright spot in the brand building department when the performer was ousted for refusing to bow to racial prejudices as his "company" and "charitable endeavors supporting teens" are open to all races not strictly minorities, Mr. Hagan was eliminated from the bachelorette styled reality show in the premiere episode.

Darrell Keith Hagan continued to work as a board chair with moviePresales but he spreads most of his time between four sales business organizations his team runs or owns, visit business credit development. He under Kiedo self published a memoir titled the "Black Actor's Guide To Not working In Hollywood" - chronicling the demise of his marriage in lieu of his growing popularity in Hollywood. Divorced in 2007, he completed the film deal and decided to keep public and private life separate from then on.
